The change of pattern is about to begin. Mourning Hours have been known basically for doing more atmospheric black metal with ambient influence blended along with the heavy doom music. And it's been more than two years of Mourning Hours in the business of one man metal bands. The first demo single was released back in August 2012 followed by the first EP album on September. That experimental album was not much of a good work but it was able to put up some impact onto the minds of underground heavy metal listeners. One of another experimental music went in the compilation black metal album titled "Doomed In Depression" where the album featured artists like Toorn, PHTO and many more other well known DSBM and black metal artists. 2013 began with good agenda where Mourning Hours released a split album with Koboloris and Miseria Visage. Later that very same year the first full length album was released under the UK based record label Three Rooks Records. The following year was suppose to be a busy one too where the plan was to release the 2nd full length album but the another one man project by Rubayet made things mixed up a bit.
With the delay the new composition started to change its course and the original pattern a lot. "Fallen Leaves " is available for listening on the official youtube channel. Those of you who have listened to the new song are already aware of the new patter of Mourning Hours. It's not just the pattern but the whole sub-genre have been changed. Mourning Hours will still have the flavor of atmospheric black metal but the music is going to be more influenced by post-metal. And in this new album there is going to be more instrumental tracks than before in any other albums. Thus the highlight of the album should be spoken by all of you listeners. "May We Never Forget Her Face" will be something very different and less experimental. All of you could say that this is the result of all experiments which were being done over the past years. The release date is not set yet but February could be the month.
